One Team. Every Season.

Residential Landscaping and Lawn Care in Niagara and Erie County

Your yard is the first thing neighbors see and the last thing you want to think about after a long day. At Cutting Edge Services, we take that off your plate. Steven DiBartolomeo founded this company with one standard: show up, do the work right, and leave every property looking better than you found it. With over 10 years of industry experience and a crew that knows Western New York properties inside and out, we handle everything your home needs across every season – landscaping, lawn care, cleanups, and snow removal – so you never have to line up a different contractor for each one.

One Company, Every Season

Most homeowners in this part of New York end up with two or three separate contractors: somebody for the lawn, somebody else for the beds, somebody else again when the snow starts. Each one learns your property from scratch, and none of them is accountable for what the other one did. The fall crew that leaves leaves matted in a bed is not the crew that has to deal with the dead patch in May.

Cutting Edge Services handles residential properties across the whole year with one team. That continuity is the actual product. The person mowing in July knows where the sprinkler heads are. The crew doing your fall cleanup already knows which beds hold water. The driver plowing your driveway in February knows where the lawn edge is under the snow, because he has been looking at it since spring.

Practically, it also means one phone number, one point of contact, and one schedule instead of three that do not talk to each other.

Our Residential Services

Residential Snow Services

Winter here is not a handful of storms. It is a season of repeated accumulation from late November through March, with lake effect bands that can drop more on one town than on another twenty minutes away. Our residential winter service is seasonal driveway snowplowing, contracted for the season rather than booked storm by storm, so you are on a route before the first accumulation instead of calling around after it.

Routes are built by geography and driven in a set order, which is what makes timing predictable. We stake driveway edges before the ground freezes so plow blades stay off lawns and off the apron. Bagged salt delivery is available to residential customers as well, so you have material on hand at the house before a storm rather than after the stores empty out.

Lawn Mowing

Weekly mowing on a consistent day, cut at a height that suits the season rather than a single setting all summer. Taller cuts through July and August shade the soil and hold moisture, which is what carries a lawn through a dry stretch. Edges and trimming are part of the visit, not an add on.

Landscaping

Bed design and planting, mulch, edging, shrub trimming and the ordinary maintenance that keeps a planted bed from turning into a project. Plant selection matters more here than in milder regions, because anything installed needs to survive both the freeze and the road salt spray that reaches anything near pavement.

Spring Cleanups

The reset after winter. Debris and remaining leaf litter removed, beds cleared and edged, lawn dethatched where it needs it, and damage from the winter identified while there is still time in the season to correct it.

Fall Cleanups

Leaf removal and bed preparation before the ground freezes. This is the visit that most directly affects what your lawn looks like in April, because leaves left to mat down under snow smother turf through the entire dormant period.

Why Homeowners Choose Cutting Edge

Choosing a residential contractor is mostly a question of whether the same standard shows up every visit. A few things we think are worth asking any company you consider, including us.

  • Who is actually on your property. We use our own crews on a consistent route, so you see familiar people rather than whoever was available that morning.
  • What happens when something changes. Weather moves schedules in this region constantly. We tell you when a visit shifts instead of leaving you to notice.
  • Whether the detail work gets done. Trimming, edging and cleanup after the cut are the parts that get skipped when a crew is behind. They are part of the service, not extras.
  • Whether the company is local. Decisions are made here, by people who live in the same weather and drive the same roads.
  • Whether they are insured. We are, and you are welcome to ask for the certificate before work begins.

Where We Work

We serve homeowners across Niagara County and northern Erie County. Routes are built so that properties near each other are serviced together, which is how mowing days stay consistent in summer and how plow timing stays predictable in winter.

If your address sits just outside that list, call and ask. Whether we can take a property usually comes down to how it fits an existing route rather than a hard boundary on a map.

Tell us your address and what you are looking for, seasonal or year round, and we will walk the property and put a written estimate together. Estimates are free and there is no obligation.

Frequently Asked Questions

No. Plenty of customers use us for mowing only, or for snowplowing only. The year round option exists because it is simpler and because the crews build up knowledge of your property, not because it is required.

Weekly through the growing season is standard. Growth rate changes with rainfall and temperature, so there are stretches in midsummer where the lawn genuinely does not need a cut, and we will say so rather than mowing for the sake of the invoice.

Earlier than most people expect. The calendar fills before the heaviest leaf drop, and the useful window closes once the ground freezes. Late September and early October is the right time to get on the schedule.

Yes. Bagged salt delivery is available to residential customers, so you have material at the house before a storm rather than trying to find it afterward.

Seasonal residential plowing runs on a contract for the winter, and routes begin once accumulation reaches the trigger depth in your agreement. Being contracted before the season starts is what gets you on a route.

Yes. We carry insurance on our residential and commercial work and can provide documentation on request.
